Ranges of Standard and Non-Standard Inflatable Plugs and Stoppers are available from the HFT Pipestoppers® Division in sizes 1 to 96” (25 to 2,440 mm). These versatile Inflatable devices are used to service a wide range of industrial applications including leak testing, preventing foreign bodies entering pipelines, weld purging, preventing machine swarf or tools from falling into pipes, use as blocks against road spills of dangerous materials from entering the ground water systems and so on. Inflatable Pipe Plugs and Stoppers are manufactured from tough, robust fabric and are available in standard Cylindrical, Spherical, PetroChem™, Heat Resistant, Low Profile and Rubber versions for much more arduous duties. Pipestoppers® also manufacture Non-Standard Inflatable Stoppers that can be Square, Rectangular, Spherical, Cylindrical etc. Heat Resistant Inflatable Stoppers are available for use in temperatures up to 300ºC for up to 24 hours. Inflatable Stoppers are able to hold a minimum of backpressure, which reduces as the diameter of the opening increases. The Rubber Plugs however can be used from 0.3 bar to 0.5 with specials being available for pressures up to 3 bar.
