Eliminate Porosity in Your Welds

Introducing the revolutionary HFT® PurgeNet™ Dew Point Purging Gas Moisture Sensor™, designed to integrate seamlessly with our high-spec PurgEye® Weld Purge Monitors®. This innovative device eliminates the need for a separate, expensive dew point meter, making it easier than ever to measure dew point for critical welds.
Why Choose PurgeNet™ Dew Point Purging?
Cost-Effective Solution

Eliminates the need for a separate, expensive dew point meter by integrating with existing Weld Purge Monitors®.

Enhanced Weld Quality

Accurate dew point measurement prevents porosity and cracking in weld joints, ensuring high-quality welds.

Real-Time Monitoring

Fast response time and seamless integration provide real-time data, allowing for immediate adjustments and optimal welding conditions.

Key Features and Benefits
  • PurgeNet™ Connectivity: Integrates with PurgEye® Weld Purge Monitors® via the PurgeNet™ lead, displaying both oxygen (O2) and moisture (H2O) content on the same screen.
  • Compatible Models: Works with PurgEye® 200, 500 Desk, 600, 1000 Remote, and 1500 Site models, measuring down to 1 ppm (accurate to 10 ppm).
  • preventing gases like oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen from being absorbed into the weld joint.
  • Fast Response Time: Offers rapid dew point detection, allowing real-time monitoring and adjustment.
  • Minimal Power Consumption: Requires only 1 watt, powered through the PurgeNet™ lead.
  • Seamless Integration: Connects directly to the Weld Purge Monitor®, eliminating the need for additional devices.
  • Split Screen Display: The PurgEye® Weld Purge Monitor®'s OLED screen displays dew point data alongside oxygen levels.
  • Robust and Reliable: Designed specifically for welding environments, ensuring stable and reliable monitoring.

Your Questions Answered
Dew consists of drops of liquid water that condense from the atmosphere onto any solid surface, such as metal.
The dew point is the temperature at which air is saturated with water vapor. Below this temperature, water will condense on solid surfaces in the welding environment.
Under arc conditions, water is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen in atomic form. These elements can cause porosity and cracking in the weld joint.
Using the PurgeNet™ Dew Point Purging Gas Moisture Sensor™ during welding is the easiest way to monitor when water will condense on solid surfaces. This is crucial for welding lengthy critical joints where conditions can change during the welding process.
The sensor integrates with Argweld® Weld Purge Monitors® via the PurgeNet™ lead, displaying values for both oxygen and moisture on the same screen, eliminating the need for a separate dew point monitor.
The sensor is compatible with PurgEye® 200, 500 Desk, 600, 1000 Remote, and 1500 Site models.
