The Argweld® HotPurge® Inflatable Pipe Weld Purge Systems are specifically developed for use during pre-heating, welding, and post-weld heat treatment, allowing continuous purging even at temperatures up to 300ºC (572ºF) for up to 24 hours. These systems utilise the latest IntaCal® and PurgeGate® technology to ensure efficient purging and prevent the purge dams from bursting due to over-pressurization. The RootGlo® Centre Alignment Band-aids in accurate positioning.

HotPurge® systems are designed for welding high-strength chrome steel pipe joints at high temperatures. They help achieve zero-color, coke-free welds without defects caused by harmful gases or vapours.
HotPurge® systems are available in sizes from 6 to 88 inches (152 to 2,235 mm).
The dimensions between the dams vary from 28 to 36 inches. The dimensions can be adjusted for specific requirements, such as bends.
Yes, they can be adjusted for return bends if specified at the inquiry stage.

Use the pull loops, which can withstand up to a 1,000 lb breaking strain, to pull the system from joint to joint.

They remain inflated until the purge gas hose is detached.
