The Argweld® PurgElite® Inflatable Tube and Pipe Weld Purging Systems feature advanced scientific purge bladder technology. This innovative system now includes a 'New' 1-inch (25 mm) System for small diameter tubes and pipes, designed to help tube and pipe welders save time, money, and gas and achieve superior welds. It is suitable for high-quality, pristine tube and pipe weld purging in diameters ranging from 1 to 24 inches (25 to 610 mm).

Maximum Operating Temperature:
80C (176F) for standard systems.
Low Profile Valve:

Available as an accessory, withstand temperatures up to 300C (572F).
Placement:
Recommended placement is at least 4 inches from the welding zone.
Your Questions Answered
Yes, adjacent sizes may be usable as there is some crossover in each model's range. Check the specification sheet for details.

Ensure the size of the PurgEliteĒį System matches the pipe's internal diameter. If necessary, slightly increase the pressure from the regulator.
The spinal tubes between the dams are standard length, but they can be manufactured shorter or longer according to customer requirements.
Thanks to quick-release fittings, you can replace a damaged dam without purchasing a whole new assembly.
Yes, the systems can slide around bends due to the new low-profile valve design.
The maximum operating temperature is 80ĒŠC (176ĻŽF). For higher temperatures, refer to our ArgweldĒį HotPurgeĒį Heat Resistant Systems.
