Easy Impenetrable Weld Purge Barrier!

The Argweld® Weld Purge Film® and Argweld® Super Weld Purge Adhesive® create dams that produce an impenetrable purge barrier, easily washed away during hydrostatic testing or normal washout. Unlike traditional purge paper products, which can leave behind fibres, Argweld® Weld Purge Film® ensures a clean weld purge without contamination. This biodegradable film can be used as a purge gas barrier during TIG welding and is effective when a tandem pipe purging bladder is impractical.

Will the film burn at high temperatures?

No, the film does not ignite even if the temperature becomes too hot.

How soluble is the film?

The film dissolves completely down to the molecular level, unlike other products, which may only disperse.

Can the film be left in place for days before welding?

Yes, users can glue the sheets together to form larger purging dams, ensuring a good air-tight seal when placed in the pipeline.

Does the film contain harmful halides?
