Argweld® Weld Purge Plugs™ including Orbital Welding
Great and easy for weld purging, including for orbital welding. Made from engineering quality nylon up to 150 mm (6 ø). Virtually shatter-proof. Easily cleaned. Will not rust, corrode, seize up or lock. Sizes incorporate strengthening ribs to provide rigidity in use. Use for small or odd diameters. To be used for weld purging oval and out of round tubes as well as in elbows, tees and other fittings. Ideal for creating an air-tight seal for leak testing operations. Solid shaft range from 1/2 to 1.5" for higher pressure testing. Hollow shaft range from 1/2 to 6" (10 mm to 150 mm) for weld purging.
These nylon plugs are available in several formats:
1.5 to 6" ø with 1/2 BSP threaded hollow shafts
0.5 to 1.5" ø with 6 mm threaded hollow shafts
0.5" to 1.5" ø with solid stems for greater pressure range
