Our most popular monitor is the low cost, hand held PurgEye ® 100, which is excellent value for money, measuring from atmospheric level, right down to 100 ppm. Perfect for welding stainless steel where those sought after zero colour welds are required.
Each month, we receive a variety of old, out of date monitors for disposal, mainly copies of our old Argweld ® MKV Weld Purge Monitor ®, as well as other poor made models still in the market place today.
These out of date models are updated to one of the newer, more reliable monitors in our ‘Family Range’ of PurgEye ® Weld Purge Monitors ®, in particular, the PurgEye ® 100.
Our PurgEye ® 100 is the leading Weld Purge Monitor ® designed and manufactured right here in UK by HFT ® with our 40 years of experience in weld purging.
Advancing the science of manufacturing beyond other designs, the PurgEye ® 100 is a fully accredited IP65 rated instrument that can be used out on site in rainy and dusty conditions.
The monitor is equipped with a push button ‘auto calibration’ feature, which allows the monitor to be calibrated both at atmospheric level (20.94%) and again at 100 ppm, to ensure the accuracy of oxygen levels for quality results.
Quick connect / disconnect, leak tight fittings are an advantage for gas purge tubing. A tripod mount is integrated in the housing, to ensure the Weld Purge Monitor ® can be located securely in an accessible viewing position without having to resort to additional clamping fixtures.
The PurgEye ® 100 can be used with any tube or pipe weld purging system and any weld chamber or Flexible Welding Enclosure ®.
