Huntingdon Fusion Techniques reflects on a successful 2017

2017 was another very successful year here at Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT®. Here are some of our highlights….

We had a huge year in regards to product development here at Huntingdon Fusion Techniques, with the release of our updated range of Weld Purge Monitors®. The PurgEye® 200, Nano, 300 Plus, Desk and 1000 all received an update, with the majority of our monitors now reading down to 1 ppm (accurate to 10 ppm).

The PurgEye® Site was introduced to the line-up, a virtually non-destructible on-site monitor, which is IP68 rated.

Most of our monitors are now fitted with PurgeNet™, which allows communications with external facilities such as welding systems and warning lights and alarms.

Back by popular demand, the TEG-1000 Tungsten Electrode Grinder was re-introduced during 2017. The re-designed Grinder is proving to be a big hit, giving repeatable Tungsten Electrode points time and time again. The TEG-1000 has a totally enclosed design, is good for safety and is more practical than other designs, with ease of movement and a long lasting diamond wheel. The TEG-1000 video is available on our YouTube Channel.

We attended many Exhibitions during 2017, with Booths at Fabtech and Adipec, where we showcased our full range of Weld Purging Products, Welding Enclosures for Additive Manufacturing, along with our extensive Range of Pipestoppers® and Pipe Freezing Products.

We filmed a Corporate Video, which also appeared on the AWS website. If you missed it, the Video can be viewed on our YouTube Channel.

Our Chairman Ron Sewell appeared on Arc Junkies' Podcast.

We also continued our scientific research and development, publishing a number White Papers and Technical Notes to help you achieve those sought after zero colour welds.

What does 2018 have in store for us?

2018 looks to be a great one here at HFT®! We have more products in development and we will be attending those same exhibitions as mentioned above.

Our new demonstration room will be ready in Spring 2018. We expanded our Customer Support Team with the addition of Eugene at the end of 2017 and we have a new look PurgEye® 600 coming soon!

From all of us here at HFT, we'd like to wish you a prosperous 2018.
