Fabtech 2016 and the launch of HFT ®'s Weld Purge Monitors ®

This week is the long awaited Fabtech Exhibition Show, which is taking place this year in Las Vegas!

It is a very exciting event for us here at Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT ® as Fabtech 2016 marks the launch of our brand new “state of the art” Weld Purge Monitors ®.

Our CEO Georgia Gascoyne will be at the Show, along with our Exclusive Partner and Distributor for the USA, COB Industries and Luke Keane will be there to demonstrate the new products.

We have put all our scientific knowledge and background into the development of these monitors, to ensure they are truly innovative and designed to the highest possible standard.”

What new?

Three of our Monitors have received a complete overhaul! The PurgEye® 200 remains our hand held unit reading down to 1 ppm (accurate to 10 ppm), now with PurgeNet™!

Other updates include:

• A new bright, clear OLED large viewing angle display is used, that doesn’t need a backlight.
• Loud, pre-settable audio alarms for rising or falling oxygen levels.
• A long life battery lasting up to 10 hours.
• An optional docking station for recharging purposes.
• The PurgEye® 200 is lightweight, has a long life sensor and comes complete with language options.

A completely new Weld Purge Monitor® is added to the range, known as the PurgEye ® Site.

This model is mounted in a virtually non-destructible case and is perfect for site conditions. The monitor is IP65 rated with the lid closed and IP68 with it open. The long life battery will last up to 10 hours. The PurgEye ® Site comes complete with PurgeNet™ and optional interface for connecting to and controlling welding power supplies.

The PurgEye ® 300 Nano has a smaller instrument housing, the PurgEye ® 300 becomes the PurgEye ® 300 Nano Plus and the PurgEye® 500 becomes the PurgEye® 500 Desk.

Finally, the PurgEye ® 1000 remains our remote monitor, measuring up to 1 km away from the welding zone. The 1000 now has a considerably smaller remote sensing head than previous models and can be used in pipe diameters as small as 1”. Similar to the other monitors, other updates include OLED display, long faster reaction, long life senor and language options.

Along with our full range of Weld Purge Monitors ® we will have our Tube and Pipe Purging Systems on display ay Fabtech. Ensuring you achieve oxide free, zero colour welds, time and time again.
