In the last game of the season, Burry Port Rugby Club won the "Morgan Finance Plate", playing in the final against local side Tumble.
The team comprised of some of the club's veteran players who were playing their last game for the club plus one of the new young players, Nicky who is one of the vital members of the HFT® team as well (pictured in the front row, left hand end).
After going in at half time 20 points to 5 down, Burry Port made some changes to their team and strategy and were able to overhaul Tumble and end up overall winners.
In spite of coming so close many times in the past to winning a final, this was actually Burry Port's first trophy in 43 years!
