In December, Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT®’s Georgia Gascoyne and Luke Keane made a special appearance at The Welding Institute (TWI) Teesside Branch to deliver a lecture on Weld Purging to an audience of around 25 – 30 people from different parts of the Industry.
TWI is the leading professional engineering institution, responsible for the registration and certification of welding and joining personnel Worldwide.
Georgia opened the lecture by giving a background on the company and our Exclusive Distributor network. She then talked in depth about the benefits of Weld Purging in order to achieve zero colour welds with no oxidation.
Luke followed, providing an extensive talk on the HFT® product range and their applications, from PurgElite®, QuickPurge® and our Family Range of Weld Purge Monitors®, to our MutliStrike® Tungsten Electrodes and Pipestoppers® Division.
Following the talks, Georgia and Luke held a Q&A session before handing out the HFT® gift bags.
