Low Cost where Access is Tight

For applications where insufficient pipe length is available for regular Cylindrical and Spherical Stoppers, the new 'HFT Pipestoppers® Low Profile Stoppers' are the perfect solution. Due to their low profile, these stoppers can fit into a pipe end that may be directly on an elbow or just inside a flanged neck on a casting or other fabrication. They provide a secure method of blocking pipe ends to keep gases inside or to keep debris and vermin out.

Your Questions Answered
HFT Pipestoppers® Inflatable Stoppers can be inserted and retracted through smaller holes. They are less expensive than mechanical stoppers, but they are not as rugged and strong.
It is common to brace the ends of pipes to prevent stoppers from sliding out. The Pipestoppers® Division of Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® can provide further data.
The recommended maximum temperature for this standard range is 80ºC (176ºF).
The size range is 6 - 88" (152 - 2,235 mm).
Each stopper is designed and fitted with a standard Schrader valve, which attaches to any foot pump or compressor.
