Pipe Plugs for Heavy-Duty Applications

pipe plugs

PlugFast Pipe Plugs : Most drain test plugs expand from the centre, however, above a certain size, the consistency of pipe roundness starts to be lost.

Pipe plugs

For such applications, PlugFast™ Pipe Plugs offer a great reliability as they can be tightened at the edges in such a way that the seal is made, even with pipe ovality and lack of roundness.

These hard-wearing plugs are available in sizes from 18″ (457 mm) up to 48″ (1,219 mm).

Other featured include:

  • A single port series and double port option.
  • The centre stem is 2” (50 mm diameter) and is threaded to accept a 2” BSP screw cap.
  • The second port is normally fitted with a 4” (100 mm) plain bore and supplied complete with a 4” (100 mm) steel drain test plug.
  • The second port is normally offset to the outer edge of the Peripheral Sealing Plug, allowing the water to be easily drained from the pipeline after testing.
