Purge Monitor for clean, oxide free, zero colour welds

Using a purge monitor when welding stainless steel will help to ensure welds are free from oxidation.

Welding with a purge monitor. Welding in an environment where the oxygen level is above 100 parts per million (ppm) could cause weld defects, that could lead to a loss of corrosion resistance. Welds could also be rejected by quality control, which would cause additional costs where they have to be cut out and re-welded.

Using a low cost Purge Monitor to measure the oxygen level before, during and after welding will avoid any rework and produce clean, oxide free welds time and time again. So much so, that the monitor will pay for itself after just a few welds.
