We were delighted to attend the event at The Welding Institute, which focussed on Welding Technology: State of the art and future developments’.
On Day One, the 70 or so delegates listened to presentations by TWI personnel underlining their core research programme and took part in a workshop discussion on future research ideas.
On Day Two, 10 minute presentations were given by participating suppliers, including Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® and a ‘meet the supplier’ session was held where the delegates could view supplier products on display within a small exhibition area.
There was plenty of interest in our product offering and a number of projects discussed. We displayed a Range of our Tube and Pipe Purging products, Weld Purge Monitors® and a scaled down version of a robotic welding cell Flexible Enclosure which is being used widely for additive manufacturing applications.
