Repeatable Strikes Every Time!

Techweld® MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes represent the highest quality, totally traceable, longest lasting, and most reliable tungsten electrodes on the market. They allow for welding steels and alloys with DC techniques and aluminium with AC techniques, providing narrower, lower-heat-input welds.
Key Features and Benefits

MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes produce 10 times more arc strikes than conventional thoriated tungsten electrodes under the same conditions.

Maintains consistent performance over a current range from 0 - 300 Amps.

Developed with the end user in mind, these electrodes eliminate the radiotoxic thoria present in standard, red-tipped tungsten electrodes. MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes are non-thoriated, non-radioactive, and non-carcinogenic.

Each tungsten welding electrode carries a total traceability identification, ensuring quality and reliability.

MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes can be used for welding steels and alloys with DC and aluminium with AC techniques and provide stable performance over the current range from 0 to 300 Amps. The carefully balanced mix of non-radiotoxic dopants gives up to 10 times the number of arc strikes compared to conventional 2% thoriated tungsten electrodes under identical conditions.

Techweld® MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes consist of a unique blend of dopants that allow them to perform at high, low, and medium current ranges with TIG (GTAW) welding of steels, nickel, and cobalt-based materials, as well as titanium and aluminium alloys. This blend greatly enhances electrode life by significantly increasing the number of arcs strikes before re-grinding is necessary, offering up to 10 times better performance than thoriated tungsten electrodes.

MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes contain a blend of rare earth dopants to replace thoria. These dopants are non-radioactive and mixed in precise proportions using statistical proportional control procedures, ensuring the electrodes are made to the same high standards every time. The unique packaging guarantees product quality, reliability, repeatability, consistency, and traceability.

MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes conform to EN ISO 06848 and ANSI/AWS A5 12m-98 standards.

Notify us of the distributor's name, and we will rectify the problem and send correctly packaged MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes.
They contain a blend of non-radioactive rare earth dopants, ensuring consistently high standards and reliable performance.
Yes, they are widely and successfully used for this purpose.
Tungsten inclusions can occur with any tungsten electrode due to poor grinding techniques or accidental dipping into the weld pool.
Dirty welds are usually caused by insufficient gas coverage, gas flow disturbance, or dirty materials being welded, not by the electrodes themselves.
Yes, MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes offer significantly more arc strikes than thoriated tungsten electrodes under identical conditions.
No, the dust generated is not carcinogenic, as the electrodes do not contain thoria or other radiotoxic materials.
Yes, they conform to EN ISO 06848 and ANSI/AWS A5 12m-98 standards.
