Burry Port Rugby Club played a special game recently against the 14th Signal Regiment based at RAF Bawdy near Haverfordwest.
This was a memorial day event in line with others held to remember the fallen in the World Wars.
Army Rugby teams are notorious for their toughness and their fitness, so this was a challenging match for the Burry Port first team.
Once the service was over, the teams became locked in friendly combat.
The game was a good spirited affair as deserved by the occasion and Burry Port came out winners by 33 – 17.
Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® is proud to be a main sponsor to Burry Port Rugby Club.
