The Argweld® PurgEye® 1000 Remote Weld Purge Monitor® is the world's first and only long-distance weld purge monitor, capable of measuring oxygen levels accurately down to 10 ppm. The PurgEye® 1000 uses a solid-state sensor of a unique design, offering faster reaction times and long life at a lower cost.
This monitor is designed for applications where the sensing head needs to be placed up to 1 km from the instrument, such as pipeline welding.
Each instrument is shielded to prevent most forms of interference, ensuring reliable performance.

The sensor head can be used in pipes with a minimum diameter of 1” (25 mm).
The sensor head housing is made from stainless steel.
HFT® can supply fixtures to mount the sensing head stably to any mechanical or inflatable pipe purging system.

The PurgEye® monitors can measure oxygen levels within any gas, including inert gases like argon and helium and non-inert gases like nitrogen and nitrogen/hydrogen mixes.
