Do I need to fix the sensing head to the purging system?

HFT® can supply fixtures to mount the sensing head stably to any mechanical or inflatable pipe purging system.

What is inside the sensor head?

The sensor head contains an electro-mechanical pump to ensure a steady exhaust gas flow across the sensor for stable measurements.

Can Weld Purge Monitors® only be used when purging with argon?

The PurgEye® monitors can measure oxygen levels within any gas, including inert gases like argon and helium and non-inert gases like nitrogen and nitrogen/hydrogen mixes.

What is PurgeNet™?

PurgeNet™ controls welding power sources to switch on and off according to oxygen levels. It also facilitates data transfer and connection to external devices for comprehensive monitoring and control.
