On the first day of the American Welding Society’s (AWS) annual Welding Exhibition, this year on 14 November, Huntingdon Fusion Techniques launched to the Welding World, a new Weld Purge Monitor™ into their PurgEye® range.

The Nano version is a simple Weld Purge Monitor™ that just measures oxygen down to 10 parts per million (ppm).
The relays and switching mechanisms with the four button menu have been omitted to make this low price instrument.
For the very first time, welding and quality engineers can measure oxygen accurately down to 10 ppm to ensure that their titanium and high quality stainless steel joints are made without oxidation but at a very low cost.
